Ok so my freezer is finally at the low stage that it can now be defrosted overnight! I thought that it wouldn’t take as long but it ended up having little things in it that I had to buy more things in order to use it up.
So that means tomorrow is food shop day, and I want to try and plan my meals before I go shopping, so plan one sweet thing that I can make and take to work and plan evening meals as much as possible so I don’t just buy random stuff to fill the freezer.
I have a feeling I’m going to have to go to a few different shops in order to get everything I want, supermarkets around here don’t have a big range of veggie foods and I want a few easy foods or days when I don’t have a lot of time.
I want to try and do some batch cooking as well, maybe something like a veggie curry that I can just add rice or a baked potato, I need to probably tweak a few recipes for this though, as I don’t want anything too spicy. I have found that spice gets added in a lot of vegetarian recipes, not sure why as it’s not like vegetables are bland on their own.
